"No children's menu and a weak wine and beer offering in an environment that could be made more cosy and inviting with a few lighting and other tweaks but the Indian food is fantastic, definitely give it a try. Really nice bombay chaat, onion bhaji, chicken ruby, railway curry, chicken tikka masala, tarka dal, garlic rice."

"This pub has recently changed hands and it's brilliant. It has a curry menu (and more traditional pub food options too) and both curries we had were the best we could remember having in a long time. It's in a beautiful setting and has been recently refurbished. Better than any local indian restaurants. There's also a nice bar area with a pool table. Definitely recommend going!"

"I just had a dinner at the Sycamore Inn with my family and it was absolutely delicious. We had various curries and all of them were fresh and full of flavour. I can particularly recommend the lamb shank curry. Even the Naan breads and poppadoms seemed to be of a better quality and taste than many I've had before. The Sycamore has a comfortable bar with leather sofas and a pool table. I will certainly be returning for the occasional pint or two and then another meal whenever possible. I didn't rank the rooms because I didn't see them, but if the decor and service is of the same quality as our meal then I'm sure they would have also have received five stars."
